FAQs

What is a plunge cut saw?
A plunge cut saw allows you to start a cut anywhere on a workpiece, rather than just at the edge. Its spring-loaded design lets you lower the blade precisely into the material for clean, accurate, and splinter-free cuts.

Does the Festool track saw cut into the work surface?
No, the Festool track saw rides along a guide rail with a splinter guard that prevents the blade from cutting into the surface underneath. This design delivers precise, tear-out-free cuts every time.
