Hard Arkansas Sharpening Stone – 34 x 2-12 x 8

The Hard Arkansas Stone is a natural sharpening stone that refines and strengthens the edge after initial honing. It produces a sharper, more polished finish than a soft Arkansas stone while still maintaining a practical level of bite. Ideal for maintaining tools that demand precision, this stone is a favorite among woodworkers, carvers and serious knife users.

It excels at bringing an edge from functional to fine, bridging the gap between shaping and final polishing. Used with either oil or water, the Hard Arkansas Stone offers a consistent feel and leaves behind a clean, controlled edge. With proper care, it will provide steady service for decades and earn its place among the tools you treasure most.

Quarried only in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas, the Soft Arkansas Stone is cut from premium Novaculite, a dense microcrystalline quartz prized for its superior honing ability.
